Level 1 Start Powerboating              (Scout/Explorer Powerboating)

Power Boat 1 is a  one day introduction to powerboating.

This course is an introduction to boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. 

The course costs £75 and includes tuition, fuel and course book.

Any member of TSA can apply to SHQ for funding which covers 33% of their cost, provided it leads to a permit.

Leaders outside LSC they can apply for a further 33% from their districts and 33% from their groups.
